    Colocasia Esulenta has large heart-shaped dark green leaves drooping downwards.

    Elephant Ears are an great choice for planting near water, patio or in a large container. Elephant Ears grow best in warm, humid conditions with rich, moist soil and partial to full shade. Water consistent to keep the soil moist. Elephant Ears are sensitive to frost (USDA Zones 3-7) and require protection from cold temperatures. In warmer zones (8-11) the bulbs can be left in the ground.
