    Description

Tulipa ‘Flair’ has fiery red flowers with wide yellow margins.

Single Early Tulips are great for beds, borders, rock gardens and forcing. The word ‘Single’ implies that cultivars have only one flower with six petals. They are distinguished from the Double Early tulips what have well excess of 6 petals and look like Peonies. Single Late tulips featuring strong stems, stand up well to rain and wind and open fully in sunny weather, early flowering.

Tulips are hardy and like other bulbs, easy to grow in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. The blooms last longer in partial shade locations. The tulips can be planted in Fall when the soil temperature falls below 55F to make sure they root well. The best planting time is when the night time temperatures are between 40-50F. For best results, tulips need approximate 12 weeks of temperatures below 50F.
