Tulipa 'Daydream' is a color changing variety, flowers open up yellow and change to apricot-orange during growing season.

Darwin Hybrid Tulips are the best and most popular tulips for landscape use. They produce giant blooms on strong stems and are great for southern gardens, the blooms are heat tolerant. They hold up well in strong winds and rain. These tulips are a cross between Fosteriana and Single Late tulips.

Tulips are hardy and like other bulbs, easy to grow in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. The blooms last longer in partial shade locations. The tulips can be planted in Fall when the soil temperature falls below 55F to make sure they root well. The best planting time is when the night time temperatures are between 40-50F. For best results, tulips need approximate 12 weeks of temperatures below 50F.
