    Narcissus ‘Barrett Browning’ has white flowers with a orange-scarlet cup.

    Narcissus Large Cupped cultivars are called large cupped since the trumpet of this group is called a cup. Its length is smaller than a segment of the perianth, but never smaller than one third. All cultivars have on flower to a stem. Flowers are equally large as the Daffodils Trumpet but the cup is smaller.

    Narcissus are hardy and like other bulbs, easy to grow in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. The blooms last longer in partial shade locations. The Narcissus can be planted in Fall when the soil temperature falls below 55F to make sure they root well. The best planting time is when the night time temperatures are between 40-50F. For best results, Narcissus need approximate 12 weeks of temperatures below 50F.
