    Description

    Triteleia ‘Queen Fabiola’ has umbels of up to 25 star-shaped blue-mauve flowers. Grasslike foliage emerges in late Winter and dies back as flowers appear.

    Triteleia (Brodiaea), this genus is offered under a variety of names are great for rock gardens, borders and cut flowers. Many are native to the West Coast where they bloom in sunny fields and meadows in Spring and early Summer.

    Triteleia are hardy and like other bulbs, easy to grow in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. The blooms last longer in partial shade locations. The Triteleia can be planted in Fall when the soil temperature falls below 55F to make sure they root well. The best planting time is when the night time temperatures are between 40-50F. For best results, Triteleia need approximate 12 weeks of temperatures below 50F.
